I feel like am coming down with fever or malaria, do i get a massage? No you shouldn’t get a massage!
Several times when questions like this are asked it’s because pain is involved, well there are pains caused by muscles and there are pains caused by (infections) fever these two pains aren’t the same, one is triggered by the body through stress or physical exercise, the second is triggered by infection.
Massage is alternative medicine when categorised, this might be a hot topic for some but don’t get tempted to argue as infection needs treating, but stress is not an infection. Also did you know Aromatherapy is far better alternative medicine for people coming down with infection.
Aromatherapy can be defined as
the use of aromatic plant extracts and essential oils for healing and cosmetic purposes.
While massage is kneading the tissues and muscles or stroking it,so you see clearly that massage doesn’t cut it, except perhaps you feel sick and your loved one is gently stroking your hair.
If you are ever making this sentence ” I feel like am coming down with fever or malaria, do i get a massage? ” .opt for a physician not a massage therapist.
No don’t get a massage, get in contact with a Physician.
